It is the best filed which you are going to enter. You can pursue your PhD in a relevant stream to your education. Pursuing your Ph.D. from a place giving the best academic excellence would be a good choice as you need a good guide who will propel you to give your best and work at a fast pace. Another thing is that the research facilities of the institution should be good so that good library is at your disposal. Another thing is choose a university with care because some universities like Lovely Professional University, offers research facilities in the form of grants and incentives for innovations, so that you are motivated to give something new to the society. Check the research facilities in some more colleges like Lady Sri Ram College New Delhi, Loyola College Chennai, etc.

M.A. Journalism needs a really good faculty but this is not enough. The college from you pursue your degree has a lot to do for shaping your career. It is not only in giving placements but a lot more. The university right from the campus prepares you for jobs of journalism from the campus itself.
