Would like to rectify the question that Akashdeep / gyandeep should not be called as Akashdeep Degree or Gyandeep Degree it is just normal distance degree awarded under the Akashdeep Programme initiated by Indian Air Force in collaboration with IGNOU to facilitate serving Indian Air Force staff to have degrees for their better career prospective after retirement. [1]
Now degrees under this programme / scheme is also awarded by JMU also. As these degrees are normal distance degrees awarded by normal universities recognised by UGC, there is no any question to doubt equivalency of these degrees.

MA Psychology: Eligibility
Candidates who have completed Bachelors degree in Nursing or any other medical course with one subject as psychology and have got a minimum of 50% marks or above from a recognised university or college are also eligible for the course

It's hard to say. It depends on university's policies but based on general info., it recommends qualifications from a similar stream.

You have to appear for the entrance after having a Bachelors degree in any discipline. Go to the official website and look out for the application, it must be available by December.

Both the streams are different, you can opt for any which allures you the most.

You have to pay that anyhow, otherwise that will not be possible at all.
