There is nothing like part-time English. Yes, we see distance education or correspondence courses in English by different universities. So, I request you to check it out with the distance education departments or their websites and you will get to know that there is MA in English.

You can refer to specific books like Bipin Chandra and Ramachandra Guha, they are very helpful and also go through NCERT if you have enough time then do read EPW which is quite helpful in entrance exams of JNU. Do take a look at the last 5 years question paper. Try to solve them.
