INIFD Saltlake admissions are conducted online through the official website of the Institute. Candidates need to register and fill an application form to apply for a particular programme, and the Institute will contact you shortly. The course-wise details regarding INIFD Saltlake admission process are given below:
- Admission to Advance, Bachelor Degree and Master Degree Programs is done on merit-basis

B.Des (Bachelor of designing) courses at NIF Global Saltlake cost between INR 4.5 and 5 lakhs, depending on the course specialization. Semester fees, lab charges, and other expenses may also incur additional costs.
The total fees for the following courses at NIF Global Saltlake are:
For B.Des: INR 5.23 lakhs
If you want an Advanced Certificate: INR 2.55 lakhs
If you want Super Specialization: INR 3.84 lakhs

Des. in Interior Space and Furniture Design at MIT Institute of Design is a 2 years course at the PG level. The course offers admission to 150 students. 150 students can do an M.Des at MIT Institute of Design for a year respectively. MIT Institute offers an entrance exam for around 250 to 300 hundred students. So at least 150 students get a seat in the MIT Institute of Design.

The Studio Test and Personal Interview for the M.Des programs will be conducted in the third week of May 2026. Candidates who have qualified in the written exams are eligible to appear in the Studio Test.
The detailed schedule for the Studio Test and Interview is released on the admission portal of MIT Institute of Design. The candidate had to attend the exam as per the schedule and slot mentioned in the admit card.

The MITID 2026 final merit list for the B.Des program was released on May 15, 2026. The result will have to be checked online. In the log-in panel that opens, enter your candidate credentials.
The result will have the sectional and overall marks, and the qualifying status. Shortlisted candidates will be called for seat allotment.

It can honestly be answered by an alumni of the institute only. However, 32.5% of students could pass this course in recent years. But you can rely on their shortlisting procedure as it only allows the competent candidates through its selection procedure. In a nutshell, after being shortlisted if you focus on upgrading your skills as per their curriculum, a bright future is awaiting you.
