You have to secure at least 50% marks in X and XII and minimum 50% marks in four year Bachelor degree. You have to either appear for DAT or apply with valid CEED score followed by interview and portfolio presentation.

M.Des at UPES School of Design is a two-year course. For the first two semesters you have to pay INR 227000/- as tuition fees and 75000/- as academic service fees total of INR 302000/- per semester and for the last two semesters the tuition fees and the academic service fees would be INR 243000/- and 81000/- respectively total 324000/- per semester. The two year course would cost you INR 1252000/- excluding training and certification fees, personality development courses fees, identity card fees etc. The institute offers financial aid as per needs.

The name says it all. The college is known popularily for its M.Des courses with various specializations. If you want to pursue M.Des, it is a great choice to look at. If you are genuinely looking for great design education, NITs are the way to go for you. There are other options available too like the IITs, IDC etc. but NIT stands out and are perfect for design courses.

There seems to be some discrepancy regarding the highest bundle offered to M.Des students at the National Institute of Design (NID) Bangalore for 2024 placements. Here's what I discovered:
Limited Information for 2024: Official placement information for 2024 isn't always available but placements typically happen in November, and data is released a few months after.

INIFD, Saltlake has a dedicated placement cell that focuses on getting opportunities for the students.
100% placements have been recorded (as of 2022) with the highest package being 35,000 and average being 25,000 and the lowest stood at 5000. Top recuiters include Calvin Klein, Myntra, Blackberry, Arbee By Ravi Balotia, Tarun Tahiliani, Godrej Properties, Asian Paints. Students can get their internships through college or even on their own. Proper guidance is provided by the placement team.

The placement percentage is almost 75% at National Institute of Fashion Technology, Kannur. The highest package offered was INR 6-7 LPA, and nearly INR 2 LPA was the lowest paid, and the average package was INR 3 to 4 LPA.

Expected NID DAT cut off 2024 has been updated on this page. Candidates can also check past year's NID cutoff to get an idea on opening and closing ranks for admission. As per previous year NID cutoff, the NID DAT cutoff marks for General category was 50. National Institute of Design will release the NID DAT cutoff 2024 pdf along with result at admissions.nid.edu. Candidates can also check NID fees 2024.
