It depends upon them that how they calculate it. So it'd be better if you ask the college directly. In general, backlogs are counted subject wise. But the plus point is your 3+ year of work experience. You still have the good chance to ensure your selection in your desired college.

Hi Arshad Damani,
Extremely low possibility. To get admitted with 60% in Germany, you must have an excellent research-oriented profile, publications, patent works, high-end internship and project work, outstanding recommendation letters, foreign languages, etc.

Hi Akanshya Nayak, keeping in view the number of backlogs you have and the GRE score you are trying to achieve you are advised to check universities below rank 30 like University of Delaware, Case Western Reserve University, Michigan State University etc. I will recommend you to seek help from a professional consultancy who can go through your complete profile and shortlist universities for you.

Sorry Mir Mohamed, That's a very low score to be accepted by Canadian universities, that too for MS. Around 8 CGPA is required normally. Look for lesser challenging countries like in Poland, Italy, Ireland and the Czech Republic. Also, you can check for PG Diploma courses in Australia.

Hi Mani, well three of them are good. You have to see which is good for you. Check the university admission requirements and see which of them fits you, your grades etc. See the fees and check with your budget. And regarding what you should study, it is absolutely your personal choice. How can someone else tell you what you should study if you are not sure of your choices yourself . Please know what you want and choose what to study.

Hello Shiv,
It's indeed very heartening to know your dream of working as professor in an engineering college. For this I would advise you to do ME / I am.Tech rather than MS. After this you must register yourself for PhD. It can be done after getting a job also but it should be on your horizon.

Hi Vidhan or Rahul,
First, there is no shortcut here. Application process is time consuming and takes a year almost. Take the SAT or ACT and also the TOEFL to start applying to Bachelor's degree courses. To apply for MS programs you must complete your Bachelor's degree and take the GRE. You must probably apply for another student permit since it will expire couple of months after your Bachelor's degree course is over. So its better you apply during the final year and also check with the visa consulate there. But as of now focus on applying for your Bachelor's degree, you can find out information for your MS once you go there. Visit uni

If you wish to focus on engineering as your core passion and work in an engineering-related sector or conduct research in engineering or take up teaching engineering as a career, then an MS or an M.Tech would be a good choice.
If you are planning to study for an MBA degree then most US and UK institutions demand that you have prior work experience of at least two years. It is in this case-scenario that the BE+2 or 3 years of work and then the MBA makes sense. With B-School students in India getting placement letters from top companies with annual salaries in excess of Rs 25 lakhs, the gap between Indian and foreign institutions is thinn
