It is the oldest and a very prestigious university in Malaysia. In 2015, the QS World University Rankings has ranked the university the 146th place in the world and is ranked 29th in the QS Asian University Rankings, 3rd in Southeast Asia. The university is also well known for engineering. You can mail the university or the particular department you want to enroll in for career assistance and graduate placement data. Hope it helped.

US universities are very generous when it comes to scholarships. It does not matter if the program is research based or not. You must have an outstanding profile to be considered for scholarships, that's all.

Hi Alok, to pursue MS from anywhere in the world you must first complete Bachelor degree. So prepare for BS and not MS. To study in US you must clear SAT and TOEFL. A first class in 12th is recommended, if you want to get into the best universities you must target not less than 70%. Apart from this you must be actively involved in extracurriculars, universities in USA prefers all rounders and not book worms.Best of luck.

Hi, Germany would be the best option for mechanical engineering and related fields, USA is no doubt the top most choice. You can also consider Canada and Japan. For the best universities please check Times Higher Education Ranking, QS Ranking etc. Purdue University, UBC, RWTH Aachen are popular universities for this area. Best of luck.

Any core branch will always be preferred as with it you can diversify into any job sector. You may check the skill shortage list of USA to see which branch is currently in demand.
