So, see in which area you can go after MS mechanical and find the jobs listing on Google of that in Canada. If there are more number of jobs than good.

Please be specific about the university
If you meant about Texas A&M College station, then your GRE score should be 325+ with 100+ in TOEFL. You should have 78% and above in Bachelors.
In case of Texas A&M Kingsville, the competition is pretty less. GRE score between 295-300 will be sufficient.
Texas A&M Corpus Christi is much more easier to get in.

Reputation of the universities matter a lot while getting a job. You can manage to find a job if you are graduated from a decent or average university. But it'll be very difficult to get a job if you are graduated from a below average university. So, choose the best one.
