At IITs and BITS you may be required to clear GATE examination or equivalent. Abroad, you will have to clear IELTS/TOEFL or GRE as required by the university of study with the required score to get admissions in a foreign university.

Hi , you are eligible for both , if you are interested for a managerial career opt MBA. On the other hand if you are keen for a career in research, academics and interested to work in the same field MS is the option. You need to decide basis your career goals at this stage for better prospects.

Shortlist the universities in which you are interested in and check the minimum requirements. Most of the universities require an overall minimum of 6.5 with no band less than 6. Still you can manage to get conditional admit with 5.5 score in few universities. But, it might create some problem during VISA.
I would suggest you to retake IELTS and apply later to the universities

If you have some work experience and planning to work in and grow your family business, I would suggest an MBA in Operations or Production Management. You can consider MBA in Entrepreneurship too. If however you are considering to work towards manufacturing transformers and some core jobs and planning for a research oriented career you may opt for a MS. Studying in US and Canada will help, and you can study if you meet the criteria such as GMAT or GRE and TOEFL or IELTS besides any other university specific requirements. You may try universities that accept medium of instruction letter in case you don't have the requisite IELTS score. However, you would have to consider a tuition fee budget of Rs.30 lakhs. Hope this helps!

Requirements vary from university to university. On the whole 6.5 or 7 is required. You may refer to German Academic Exchange Service website for more information.

For admissions to master's, you need GRE/ GMAT and TOEFL/IELTS of 6.5 band. There are assistant ships offered by some universities so read in details here.
