Gre general is the test you are looking at. The subject tests are required by a few universities for specific programs. In case you would be required to take subject test, you will know that from course eligibility. However even if course wants a subject test, you will still be required to appear for GRE general

Yes Germany is a very good choice for MS but you should know German language and also it's tuition fee is not free so you should keep handful of money with you for MS.overall it's a good place and you will get a wonderful job after that.
Good luck for your future

Hi Aniket,
Your profile is a bit lower. You could try adding relevant work experience and an excellent GRE score but your chances would continue to be at best 50 - 50. Would highly recommend you to look at other, less popular but equally good universities. Here's a link to get you started.

Anything between 90&95 perecentile would fetch you your required college. aim to score around 99 percentile by giving more mock exams on safe side.

That depends on which entrance exam you choose to write. For both KCET and COMED-K, you would need a rank of about 1000-1300 to get in through the first round. However, if you are lucky, you can get in through the second round with a rank of about 2500-3000.
Also, if you are very insistent on joining MSRIT and you don't get a Mechanical Engineering seat, you can pick another branch, because the coursework for the first year is common to all branches. If you do exceedingly well in the first year, MSRIT offers you an option for a branch change.

for scholarships login to wemakescholars.com and usually the cost of study in Germany are free for the Govt. funded university. For masters you need 70% marks I think.
