Yes, there are institutes which provide distance learning and collaborative programs.
5 - 6 programs under BITS Pilani have been mentioned on their website too.
Even IIT Bombay has its Distance learning program, details of which are available on their website - http://www1.iitb.ac.in/~cep/about/index.html
Other local colleges also must be offering these courses.

Hey Mohit,
Congratz on securing a good rank in GATE. You may get admission into IIT based on your rank and talking about the placement records i IITs, they provide one of the best placement assistance in India to their students. However in case you are interested for some private universities or scholarships you can also check out universities like Amity, Lovely Professional University. You can get good amount of scholarship based on your GATE score in these universities and also their placements are somewhere in the top batch.
