Applicants for MS in Construction Management must normally hold a bachelor's degree in a construction and related field. If you have a different background you may then be required to have work experience in construction and related areas. Which country do you intend to go to ? If it is the UK then they have only 1 year Masters, the US and Australia have 1, 1.5 & 2 years Masters, more so in Australia and less in the US, it mostly 2 years there. However if you intend to apply for PR in Australia then you have to do a 2-year program as anything of lesser duration will not get you points to qualify. From the job angle only any duration is ok. If it is the UK then select a Masters with internship as this will increase chances of employment.

The only thing is you cannot stay in that country for a job but you can most certainly visit the EU states (if you have the permit) for an Interview. Once you get a job, the employer would assist you in finding the right work permits.
