If you are interested in admission in north region, Chandigarh University can be a good chice. It offers MSc in pure Math, applied, Computational Math and Statistics. It has good placement record. Students also opt for Net exam n PhD admission after doing Masters in Math.

There are number of universities in punjab which are having Masters in Mathematics like Punjab university in Chandigarh, Punjabi University Patiala, IISER mohali, some private university like Chandigarh University. CU is no. 1 private university in Punjab. They offer M.Sc in pure n Applied Math.
