Let us take a look at the step-wise CCMN 2026 counselling process.

  • Registration & Choice Filling:

The first and foremost step of CCMN 2026 counselling is to register and enter the choice of seats in their preferred participating colleges and programmes. During the choice filling, the candidates can change, reorder, delete and add their choices of programmes or institutes as per their preference within the stipulated schedule. The candidate will not be able to add, remove or change their choices after locking the choice list or after the stipulated date. Candidates should take a printout of their registration form, which contains the locked choices and terms and conditions. This has to be signed and submitted by the candidate at the time of final reporting at the finally allotted Institute.

The seat allotment fee is non-refundable. Candidates need to take printouts of the fee payment confirmation receipt, which has to be presented at the time of reporting at the finally allotted institute. NIT Raipur uses the CCMN portal to handle all MSc seat allotments online. After your JAM results, you list this college as a preference on that website. The system then offers seats based on your rank in multiple rounds. You can track your application status easily through your login.
