CCMN 2024 Counselling Steps

Let us take a look at the step-wise CCMN 2024 counselling process,

  1. The first and foremost step of CCMN 2024 counselling is to register and enter the choice of seats in their preferred participating colleges and programmes. During the choice filling, the candidates can change, reorder, delete and add their choices of programmes or institutes as per their preference within the stipulated schedule. The candidate will not be able to add, remove or change their choices after locking the choice list or after the stipulated date. Candidates should take a printout of their registration form, which contains the locked choices and terms and conditions. This has to be signed and submitted by the candidate at the time of final reporting at the finally allotted Institute.
  2. The CCMN authorities release three rounds of seat allotment order. Selected candidates will have to check the list and accept the offer by fulfilling the following formalities: pay seat acceptance fee, upload required documents, and submit willingness of taking admission to the allotted seat. In case candidates are unable to complete any of the above steps, their provisional admission offer will be withdrawn.
  3. Candidates will have to pay the seat acceptance fee via ICICI Bank Credit/Debit card or Netbanking modes. The fee can also be paid at any of the ICICI bank branches through e-challan. The seat allotment fee is non-refundable. Candidates need to take printouts of the fee payment confirmation receipt, which has to be presented at the time of reporting at the finally allotted institute. After the fee payment process, candidates will have to download the Provisional Seat Allotment Letter (PSAL), upload the documents and submit willingness online.
  4. The following table brings the category-wise seat acceptance fee.

Category

  1. Candidates will have to upload the following documents to the CCMN 2024 website by logging in through their registration credentials. The list of documents to be uploaded, which will be verified online by the institutes are as follows: Document for proof of date of birth - Class 10 mark sheet or certificate issued by the school last attended. Or any photo identity card carrying the date of birth among Passport, Aadhaar Card, Driving License, Voter ID Card, PAN Card and Birth Certificate issued by Municipal Corporation/authority empowered to register the birth
  • Photo ID proof as per Govt. of India norms.

  • Class 12 mark sheet

  1. The next step is to submit the willingness by exercising one of the following three options: Float, Slide, or Freeze.
  2. The institutes will verify the documents uploaded by candidates online. In case the verifying officers have a doubt regarding any of the documents, then they will raise a query to the candidates, to which they have to respond by logging in to the website. In case of any discrepancy in the documents or lack of fulfilling the eligibility criteria, their provisional admission offer may get withdrawn or cancelled.
  3. In case candidates are not satisfied with the seat allotted to them, they can change their willingness or withdraw the offer. While in the former option candidates will be able to participate in the further rounds of the CCMN 2024 counselling, in the latter, they will not be able to participate any longer. For the change of willingness option, candidates have to select ‘Surrender and Participate in Next Round’ and for the Withdrawal option, they have to select the option of the same name.
  4.  After the three rounds of counselling and two Special Rounds (SRs), candidates have to complete the admission process by reporting to the institute where they have been offered final admission, undergoing physical document verification and paying the balance admission fee.
