There is no syllabus as such, but I would suggest that you do your Bachelor's degree, learn about various lab techniques and protocols and some general knowledge and current affairs questions.

Hi Syed,
If you are currently getting a good job, you can go for it without further studies. But if you want to achieve a little bit more, you can pursue higher studies. It is advised to go for MS abroad because it will open numerous better options for you.

Hi,
Most of the MNCs or SMEs they recruit candidates who have done their Masters from Distance Mode. However, it depends company to company. What I have heard if this is a recognised Distance university or Institute then there is no problem but there are certain institutes they are not in white list according to their own policy. If possible, please check with HR dept first or your Line manager.

This engineering branch has been designed to train candidates to become Marine Engineers on Merchant Navy ships. At the end of the course, successful candidates are awarded the Class 4 Marine Engineer Certificate of Competency. This certificate is awarded by the Ministry of Shipping, India.
