Please refer to the brochure for complete details on admission into technical university of Munich (MS). You should be able to decide which exam you are comfortable with (GATE or GRE). GATE and GRE are two very different exams, hence comparison is difficult. Go through the syllabus and type of questions asked which should help you decide which exam to prepare for. If your aggregate is 55% then I am sorry, there is no use in try for Germany but still chances are very low, you can try for the private institutions but you should sacrifice in choosing the course you want.
Instead try for countries such as Canada, Australia, US, etc. or any other European countries.
