Some of the M.Sc. Nursing programs, especially governmental or older, follow the Indian Nursing Council (INC) standards, which states that a candidate must have some minimum experience after completing the B.Sc. Nursing degree and usually this minimum is one year of experience. It is very difficult to find a programme with no experience requirement or these programs may exist but with quite less number. Exceptions may be provided or the criterion may be lower by some of the private universities whereby they may accept a candidate with little experience or may not consider it in the case of candidates who have a Post Basic B.Sc. Well, yes, students whose background is that of Chemistry could ordinarily apply to M.Sc Biochemistry courses in India. Lots of Universities and Colleges would accept B.Sc graduates in Chemistry, as well as in other life science-related fields such as Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology and others provided their aggregate marks are within a minimum level (usually 50-60%).
