As a ex CSE student of LPU, I can answer this question better. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Professors are easily approachable in the college and are well experienced. They are very supportive of all technicalities. Students can contact them anytime for their study purpose. The latest teaching methods are used in the classroom. Curriculum in CSE branch is very well designed such that they can learn everything from basics to the in-depth knowledge of their field. The College takes them for the industrial visit for more growth and experience. It hands on experience by also working on live projects to develop a sense of problem-solving, and critical thinking in order to gain real-life understanding along with skill enhancement. M.Tech is a postgraduate degree of two years. It is one of the most demanding courses among the Software Engineering domain.
This course covers all the aspects of technicality related to programming and software development. There is option for specialization like Cloud Computing, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Database Management Techniques etc.
Advantage is that getting M.Tech you can get a research or teaching or SRF jobs with a good package. Sometimes its also valuable to get promotion and project according to qualification.
