M.Tech Eligibility

Please remember, normally GATE is the entrance exam for or getting admission in PG in engineering course and you need to appear for the correct paper so that you become eligible for your M.Tech admission. It will be depend on GATE score and cut off marks in qualifying degree and some time written test or/and interview, which varies from institute to institute.

First of all, BIT-Kolkata extension centre doesn't offer M.Tech and for getting admission in the main campus in M.Tech, you will need a valid GATE score.

A student is eligible for doing Ph.D. after completion of post graduate degree. However these days almost every university insists on students clearing entrance test for registering students for doctoral research. Hence you need to follow rules of the prospective university where you intend to do Ph.D. Best wishes to you.

M.Tech in aerospace engineering eligibility:
BE/ B.Tech or equivalent degree with minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. Some of the very reputed institutes conduct entrance examination for admission to the degree course.
