The cut-off for the integrated M.Tech programme at VIT Vellore varies every year, but it generally requires a top VITEEE rank within twenty thousand to thirty thousand. For specialised branches like CSE, the cut-off can be even higher. Counselling rounds and category seats also influence the final cut-off.

No a GATE score is optional. TS PGECET can be also used to secure admission to M.Tech at Vignan's Foundation for Science, Technology and Research, Hyderabad. The candidates should have requirements of graduation. Both the two entrance tests are enough to apply.

After the declaration of results, apply to counselling and make Vignan's Foundation for Science, Technology and Research, Hyderabad as a preference. The applicants are admitted in light of their scores, seats and eligibility. Verification of documents and submission of fees is necessary in order to give a final selection.

For M.Tech in Biomedical Engineering, if I were to pursue a degree it would be at an institute like IITs, NITs or a university such as a BITS or a VIT.
Specifically speaking regarding NITs there are a few NITs with an established biomedical department as they have strong departments of biotechnology, expect NIT Rourkela and NIT Raipur, there are also other options outside of IITs and NITs, such as, Manipal Institute of Technology, VIT, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and SRM University, as they also have M.Tech in biomedical engineering programs.
