No, the IIT Hyderabad M.Tech admissions have been closed for the academic year 2026. Candidates were required to appear for GATE 2026 whose registrations were closed in November of 2025. 

Candidates who missed the dates of GATE 2026 are required to wait for GATE 2027 to begin for M.Tech admissions at IIT Hyderabad.

Yes, IIT Hyderabad does offer concession to the SC and ST category students. The fees structure of M.Tech courses for the aforementioned students does not include the tuition fees.

This results in a total fees concession of INR 48,000 in the total M.Tech course fees at IIT Hyderabad.

IIT Hyderabad M.Tech fees is INR 2.63 Lacs in the academic year 2026. The aforementioned fees is charged from regular category students of IIT Hyderabad M.Tech course. However, for government sponsored students, the IIT Hyderabad M.Tech course fees is INR 3.75 lakh.

The aforementioned fees is charged on per semester basis in four instalments.

MNNIT Allahabad fees is INR 1.4 lakh. MNNIT Allahabad fee structure includes many components. The total fees may differ at the time of payment due to the variables of the fee structure.

Yes, as MEng course is an UG programme available to be pursued as part of Oxford Department of Engineering Sciences. Students interested in pursuing course are required to get really high score as part of their CBSE & CISCE Class 12th board exams & satisfy language test score requirements of institute. 

Admission requirements may vary & students are advised to refer respective course page as part of Oxford University official website.

Amrita School of Engineering M.Tech fees is INR 3.5 lakh. Armita School of Engineering fee structure includes many components. The total fees may differ at the time of payment due to variables of the fee structure.

The "better" course is a subjective choice. By the name, if you want to go into research, academia and PhD go for M.Sc. If you are more drawn towards the tech industry roles go for MTech. Note that the graduation degree you have determines if you're eligible for the M.Tech course or not. UG courses eligible for M.Tech courses are BE, BTech, BCA for some specializations, a 4 year BSc in a few specializations is also acceptable for MTech. Top M.Tech colleges require you to clear GATE exams.
