Yes, you can get admission in NIT or IIT for M.Tech without qualifying GATE exam it is very hard but not impossible. As many IIT and NITs offer for biotechnology programme which is given as follows:

  • IIT Madras 
  • IIT Kharagpur 
  • IIT Guwahati 
  • NIT Surath Kal
