Candidates need to have graduated with a minimum of 50% aggregate from any recognised university in order to be eligible for the MTech programme at Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University. Admission will be based on the scores obtained in the accepted entrance tests. The university accepts UKSEE or GATE scores for its MTech programmes. Yes, you can do M.Tech in Structural Design after B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. Many universities allow this switch since both fields have overlapping subjects like mechanics and material science. You might need to qualify through GATE in Civil Engineering, as some institutes prefer that for Structural Design.
