Hi dear,
The scope of different engineering branches have seasonal variations. It is difficult to forcast which branch will have best scope in next 4 years. One should do engineering in subject of their interests. Therefore, It is recommended that you may choose your branch based on your interests not on scope to excel and succeed.

I am very sorry to inform you that you cannot go For M.Tech. Either you should have a Post-graduation Degree or Undergraduate Degree in a technical field that means B.Tech. You cannot go for M.Tech after your graduation. However, some universities still offer M.Tech of 3 year duration after your B.Sc.

Hello Pooja,
MS Ramaiah College has separate department of placements. This department takes keen interest in seeing that majority of the students are placed. They even provide training to the students to appear for the interview and clear it so that they are placed. However the information regarding placements after M.Tech or after B.Tech or for different branches of engineering is not readily available. For your benefit, I am attaching a link that will give you information about placements done at MSRIT:

AICTE is just council for technical education as it name suggest All India Council for Technical Education
For Approval in distance education the power is with UGC DEB and it is mandatory for colleges to get AICTE approval.
Further, to your question as per UGC MHRD notification B.Tech and M.Tech can't be pursued through distance and such a degree stands to be invalid.
