Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology offers three MSc specialisations in different subjects. Moreover, the institute does not offer a maximum number of seats in any MSc specialsiations, because the institute offers 40 seats to each MSc specialisation. SMIT only offers 40 seats for each MSc specialisation, which can results in higher competition to secure a seat.

Admissions to SMIT MSc programmes are open early, and students are encouraged to apply early since the institute has limited seats. Applicants can apply before appearing for their final exams. The admissions committee will take into account the marks of previous years/exams in processing the applications. Applicants who receive offer letters can join with a provisional admission and submit their results later. To retain their admission, students must have received a minimum of 55%.

Currently, the admission portal for MSc courses at Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology is open; candidates can apply for the course through the official website of the college. Moreover, for admissions, candidates must complete their BSc degree in relevant subjects with a valid score. Yes, SMIT, Sikkim Manipal University does offer MSc courses for two years at the postgraduate level. This course is divided into four semesters and is further offered in full-time mode. To get admission into this course, candidates are required to complete the general eligibility criteria that state candidates must complete their BSc degree in the relevant subject that they want to pursue. SMIT offers an MSc in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

The seats for BSc courses offered by SMIT can be secured only by merit in the qualifying examination. SMIT, Sikkim has no agents or middlemen for admissions. There is no donation or capitation fee of any kind. There are no management seats too for BSc coursres. Candidates are advised to apply directly to the institute through online or offline mode. They are cautioned against going through any agents.

SMIT, Sikkim, has separate hostels for boys and girls and provides accommodation to BSc students. The hostel rooms are two-seaters, well-furnished, and have attached bathrooms with hot water supply during winter. There are separate student messes for boys and Girls. Canteens & food courts are also available for vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals. Recreation rooms with TVs, separate gymnasiums for boys and girls, and sports facilities are available.
