It is worth doing Aeronautical engineering from MIT. We have a lot of facilities here. All the labs are very well maintained and have the required advanced machines needed for the study. The professors teach very well too as they are well experienced. The placements are not that good as this is still an emerging branch. Most students go for masters.

The Aeronautical engineering in MIT is really good. We have amazing facilities. The professors are also very knowledgeable. We have properly maintained labs with latest technologies. We also have a flight simulator for students who wish to learn to fly. The placements are not so good and most students prefer to go for masters.

I have been studying here for almost 2 years. Every college/universities has its own good and bad points. But according to me MU has a lot of good points. First of all the infrastructure is really amazing. The facilities provided-24X7 WiFi, well equipped library, sports facilities,(atleast in MIT) and a good environment.

You can't compare different branches of engineering as in which one is better. It all depends on your interest and what you want to study. And if you meant the faculties and facilities, I can't tell you about thapar. But mechanical engineering in MIT is quite good. We have well equipped labs, learned professors, infrastructure, exposure, all in one package. And the best is a number of student projects like formula Manipal, SolarMobil, Team Manipal racing which gives you a lot of hands on practicality experience at a UG level.

Jaipur campus is relatively new as compared to the main one. Hence placements are better in the main one but again placements and package are relative factors depending upon the choice of your branch and your personal interest and capabilities also.
