At the undergraduate level, VELS University offers three to four-year B.Tech courses to students in various specialisations. Admission to various courses is based on merit and entrance exam scores. The eligibility criteria for various undergraduate courses including the B.Tech course is 45% to 60%. The deemed university accepts the scores of VEE. The seats are limited for the students, hence apply early for timely admission.

The IMUCET is a multiple-choice question paper that covers topics in Physics Mathematics, Chemistry English and General Knowledge. There are 200 questions in total and the exam is conducted for a duration of 3 hours.
