Despite the fact that the members of this department study core subjects, the majority of them are interested in non-core industries including consulting, data analytics, coding, banking, and UPSC. The minimum eligibility for admission to B. Tech Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering is a class 12th/ Higher Secondary qualification with Biology, Maths, and Chemistry as main subjects. The mode of admission is a relevant entrance examination carried out by different universities such as JEE Main, UPSEE, AIEEE and other State-level examinations. The average tuition fee charged in India for this course ranges between INR 3 to 6 Lacs annually.

A candidate who wish to apply for UG or undergraduate, PG or postgraduate, Diploma courses and Ph.D. programme at IMU must know IMUCET 2022 Exam Pattern. As per the exam pattern, IMUCET 2022 consists of 6 sections with 200 MCQ type Questions of 200 marks in total. There will be 120 objective types of questions for 120 marks in the examination for only PG programmes in Management or MBA
