Hi Ashwini!
In order to apply for the entrance exam in M.Sc course in electronic media, you need to practice your mathematics, analytical skills, logical reasoning, English language, computer awareness and general awareness. Apart from this, some colleges/universities also see your visualisation and creative ability. You can refer to the entrance exam books or even internet for practicing purpose. If you are short of time, then you can also look for some coaching institute in your location to help you with the crash course.

There is no sure shot way of getting a job with Discovery Channel or NatGeo. Also, it depends what kind of job do you want to do at these channels since there are numerous roles. Pursuing a degree in Mass Communication will be a good decision to kick-start your career. You will be exposed to various fields like direction, production, camera, writing, etc. That will help you enhance your knowledge about the electronic media and will be the first ladder for your journey of success.

Yes, if you have successfully completed your 10+2 from a recognised board of education with a minimum of 50% marks, you are very much eligible to apply for the journalism course. Every Institute/University conducts a general aptitude test for the aspiring candidates which determines your final selection. You should start practicing your mathematics (up to 10th standard), analytical skills, English Language and general awareness for the same.

There are very few colleges in Noida that offer Event Management or PR. These include Asian Academy of Film and Television, EMDI Institute of Media and Communication, Amity University and National Academy of Event Management and Development.

Hi. Normal humanities courses are Classical Studies; English; Interior Design; History; Psychology; Political Science. Many colleges and Universities provide graduation degree in Journalism and Mass Communication along with the optional subjects like history, political science, English, psychology, etc. Amity University generally provides these options. You can pursue Bachelor of journalism and mass communication, which is also known as Bachelor of mass media in some institutes. You need to have completed your 10+2 from a recognised board of education with minimum 45% marks.
