It's great to see your enthusiasm in studying a totally unrelated field. But don't worry. I do not know your present occupation but take it that you can not join a regular college.
Don't worry. IGNOU, SMUDE are two of the distance learning Universities. You can go to their website and download brochure cum application form. Fill it up, post it online after paying requisite fees & then you can begin the study of journalism.

Amity School of Communication offers a 3-year Bachelors of Film and Television Production. It's a good course that can be applied for from March to June of every year.

Admission process starts by the end of March and goes on till June. Getting placements from both on and off campus is not a great task. One must have good academic records.
