The aptitude test at IIJNM consists of three sections: current affairs, English grammar and English writing. You should read at least one good English newspaper on a daily basis and stay up to date with what is happening in the country and in the world. Once college starts, you are encouraged to read multiple newspapers, but to begin with this works.
Thanks.

BJMC and B.Sc-IT are two very different courses with each of them having their own scope. Opt for the course that you love the most and are most passionate about and analyse the future work conditions, scope and growth prospects before taking admission.
You can also opt for psychometric test comprising of aptitude, personality and career interest to clear your confusion.
All the best.

Mass communication is a very universal field and it only requires immense interest into the field and nothing more. Hence, you can definitely pursue Masters in mass communication after B.Sc biotechnology. There's no doubt about it. Go for it.
All the best.
