First, learn to write, report and edit. Being able to tell a concise, interesting and informative story is the same whether it is a school board meeting or a baseball game.
The world is filled with sports junkies who have dreams of being a sports journalist, but who are unwilling to learn the craft of being a journalist first.
Once you have polished your journalism skills find your local community newspaper or radio station with samples of your work and offer to work for next to nothing.
If you are lucky they will bring you aboard and you will get the scut work, but over time you will move up and earn respect.

As far as I know, School Of Broadcasting is one of the only institutes offering this course in Varanasi.

BJMC is all about how creative you are. Any topic regarding self help, current affair, etc. can be asked to write an essay about. I would suggest you to be creative enough when it comes to any random topic. However, chances of current affairs question are very rare.

Hi,
The candidate should have passed his /her 10th, 12th and graduation with more than 50% marks from a recognised university. Also, most of the colleges in the current time ask for CAT, MAT, XAT entrance exams for admission in MBA.
All the candidates need to have a valid graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university/institute.
