For you kind information, there are many event management companies in all over India. Most of the owners or the person who runs it neither haven't gone to IIM nor done MBA.
So, I don't think MBA is an essential thing.
But, if you want to do MBA from IIM then go for it. It will obviously help you a lot in your business.
But, if an event management company is the one which matters the most then I would suggest you to do a Diploma or certificate course in event management, get to know about it and start a company. The money can be saved and invested also.

Actually the duration will remain same. There is no connection with the master degree and the PGDM. Maybe some study item or modules are same but those are wholly two different courses.

I don't think any institute can actually make you prepare for the entrance test of govt. colleges of mass communication.
You have to be up to date with all sorts of news and you must know different aspects of media. Those you can do by your own. Take help from the internet.

I don't think there is any such course which can improve your writing.
It comes from you. No one actually can teach you writing. I would suggest you to look for guidelines, instructions about writing various matters, available in the Internet.

For that you have to decide the colleges in which you want your daughter will study, shortlist them. After that apply for those two courses (look for the availability of the particular course). Then follow the instructions.
At the end if you find you daughter's name on the merit list get her admitted.

After doing mass communication you can go for higher studies, you can look for govt. jobs, you can apply in any medium of media i.e. print, TV, web for the post of content writer, journalist, reporter, camera person etc. Also there are huge opportunities in advertising world as well as film industry. Public relation officer are wanted by every company nowadays. That is also an option. There are many more too.
About salary I would say in starting years don't expect more than 4 LPA max. and avg. 15-20k per month.

Choosing a particular subject is absolutely upon you.
Depending on your capabilities, passion and aim you have to choose it. If you want to be in the field of media or advertising then go with the latter one. If this is not your aim then choose computer.
My suggestion would be advertising. It's really interesting.
