To begin with, if you have just completed you 12th then I would advise you to start with a mass communication course from a good college, it would open your perspective and help you understand the media industry better (since you are interest in news about movies too). Then for the next level go for a good film school like FTII where in you can learn the intricacies of Film Making. It would also allow you to be part of good section of the film fraternity and to learn a lot. Now to answer your job part, unlike other courses and fields, film making is a course or rather a field that comes with no guarantees at all. So don't go in expecting a placement drive at the end of your college. It would be solely up to you to make it on your own or to gain contacts and get into the industry. So if you are truly passionate about films then do go for it and do it for the love of films and not just to make money out of it.
