They generally ask how you will publish something, strategies you will use. Through questions they will try to find out your interest or how much you are capable. Generally, they try to check your communication skill. What I have said is not specific. It depends on the interviewer with what mindset he's there.

B.Com field is much related to finance, commerce, etc. This will help you to get a job in banks, auditing team, CA, finance, account management etc. Whereas mass communication is not limited, it is a wide field that will help you to possess skills in print and electronic media. This will also teach you about advertising, how it is done, public relation etc. Mass communication students are accepted in all sorts of field. It's all up to your interest. Find out your interest and than choose. Money is there in both the field and at the some point hard work is needed too.
