Candidates who have secured over 50% marks in graduation can apply for the post graduation course in journalism. Preference is given to those who have completed graduation in the journalism field. You need to score well in the entrance exams conducted by institutes like IIMC, Asian School of Journalism, Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University, etc. Admission will be on the basis of the score in the entrance exam as well as graduation marks. You can choose from specialisation like media writing, public relations, human communication, communication research, etc.

Of course, government college which is good. The issue is that the subject offers as Vocational Course in a poor manner. JNU or Jamia Milia Islamia University is very good for this but colleges not. Makhan Lal University, Madhya Pradesh is also a known one. IIMC is a good name in Delhi.
