If you are seeking career in PR and Advertising with BA in journalism, it would be better if you try for an internship and get first hand industry experience and accordingly you can switch your career from journalism. The relevant work experience is more vital than degrees.

It totally depends on individual's choice and aptitude. For those having interest in writing, analysing may check lucrative career into public relations or if one is creative writer than copy-writing in advertising industry is good. If someone has good business acumen and interactive skills then one may opt for client servicing. Both Advertising & PR are lucrative career options.

Definitely. After 12th, you may enrol for a course in BMM or Mass communication and journalism in case you have a flair in writing and news reporting interests you.

Each and every field has ample scope and it depends on individual area of interest and aptitude. In BMM, one may opt for specialization in media, advertising or journalism. Whereas, journalism is a very specific into print media. Mass communication has wider choice and depends on specialization one may choose for long term career.

Internship with good ad agency will give good exposure and great CV pointer. Pursue specialisation in advertising and media and subsequently look for placements in the given area of interest. Advertising has several areas like copy-writing, client servicing, media planning, strategy and business development.
