BBA is a Bachelors in Business Administration:

BBM is a Bachelors in Business Management:
The main aim of this course is to make the student competent to take major managerial decisions, handle teams and manage the administration of a company on managerial level. It helps to develop skills required to deal with personnel and clients. Some of the specializations in BBM are Finance, Operations Management, and Management Information Systems and so on.
BBS is a Bachelors in Business Studies:
This is similar to the B.B.A. course but its focus is majorly in practical exposure rather than a theoretical study. In this degree various business courses are integrated with a realistic and industry-based focus in order to build sound business ideas within the aspirants. Aspirants can specialise in management, accounting, marketing and information systems.

BA in journalism and mass communication is a 3-year programme that will help to create skills required in print, electronic and new media. You see thousands of media /mediums are there to communicate, how this all occurs, you will get to know about all in this course.
It has all the subjects related to photography, journalism, editing, camera handling, news writing, crime and minor politics, public relation, advertising etc.
It is a wide field with a large scope. One may get a job as public relation person for MNC'S, can work in advertising agency, print media, electronic media, website, photojournalist, journalist, reporter, editor, photographer, video editor, counsellor, at bpo's, call center, news anchor, etc.
It will be tyranny to write all the scope field because of there thousands of option.

It's up to you that what you choose. If you prefer to learn from distance of course it should be considered as distance learning, but if you choose to regularly visit college and study there than degree must not contain distance learning.
If it's in distance learning than may be the degree you will get will be off distance learning.
However, I have heard about Amity that there degree carries distance learning even if you have completed your graduation normally. But I am not sure about it. You may visit the college and confirm this issue.
