Hello Soumya,
You will be eligible to take up journalism in any recognised university if you score above 55% in your 12th exam (any stream). Students who have cleared their board exams with English as one of the best four subjects can apply for this course.
After 12th, you can take up BA in journalism and mass communication. Some colleges offering this course on the basis of the 12th board exam result. But, a few colleges do conduct entrance tests for this.
Delhi University carries out a Common Entrance Test for Journalism (CETJ) for the Bachelors course.
At Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication, there are two rounds of interview.

BJMC course is available at Amity. Amity University is a multi-campus private research university system. Amity University, Noida is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and Distance Education Bureau (DEB). Amity, Noida was accredited by the NAAC (National Accreditation and Assessment Council) with grade A. It was ranked in India's top 30 universities.
The faculty is good and the placements are fairly good but not 100%.

In Lovely Professional University, the student needs to have 50% marks in 12th with English as a subject or have studied in English medium to take admission in BA (journalism & mass communication).
