For majority of government jobs in central and state government graduation degree is sufficient. Few PSUs or government department can give MBA graduates preference over normal graduates.

India has highest number of newspapers/news channels operating simultaneously. Obviously, good journalists are always in demand.
Be a Journalist: You can start as a reporter/sub-editor in any news organization (print/broadcast). Apart from newspapers, you can also consider news magazines. One other avenue is the online journalism, which has picked up in the last two years. News portals like Scroll.in and Quartz - India are experiencing decent traction among readers.
Join as a copywriter: If you have good writing skills, you can join any advertising agency as a copywriter. If you do not get a job as a copywriter, you can start on your
