In order to be qualified to teach at a PUC, one is expected to possess a minimum level of education qualification. The details of the educational qualifications are as follows:
Educational Qualification:
Master's Degree in the concerned subject with at least 55% marks
B.Ed degree or its equivalent is also considered.
A Bachelor degree from a recognised university with 50% marks or above in aggregate in the 10+2+3 or 11+2+2 pattern or with at least 55% marks in aggregate in the 10+2+2 or 11+3 pattern.
At least two subjects at the Bachelors level, you may teach should have been part of the studies at this degree.

University Grants Commission (UGC) lets students who participate in their Master's degree final year examinations or have finished their Master's degree to sit for the NET exam. A candidate does not need to finish or enroll in PG course education to apply for admissions in the National Eligibility Test (NET). Candidates aiming to participate in the NET exam need to hold a minimum 55% score from their Master's degree or equivalent examinations. The NET exam application fee costs INR 1,100 for applicants from the General category.

No, only a hard copy of the CEETA PG admit card is accepted for entering the exam hall. Candidates must carry all the items mentioned in the hall ticket. Candidates are advised to go through admit card and exam day instructions carefully.
