If you are interested in the social work field, a postgraduate degree in rural development from IGNOU is a good option. After finishing your degree, you can apply for jobs in non-governmental organizations, cooperative societies, as an associate in a rural project, and other related fields. Some government organizations, such as the Indian Institute of Rural Management, also hire postgraduates in rural development.
