Hello Hamsini, actually in many universities abroad, nomenclature of the courses offered and even the courses offered keeps changing. In addition admissions there are not based on academic performance only but very many other parameters. In view of this I would like to advise you to approach an agency that is dealing with sending students abroad for MS. They will know all the tricks and hence can help you better. Best wishes to you.

Hello Sarfaraz Ahmad, it's very nice to hear from you that after graduation you are interested to do to your post graduation in disaster management via distance learning method. IGNOU is the best distance learning open University available in India. They have a wide range of courses from Certificate to graduation to post graduation. I suggest that you download the brochure cum application form of this Institute from the internet, go through it, fill up the form, pay the fees and then you will be on to doing the course that you want. Best wishes to you.

Let me assure you that the admission in US is not exclusively based on your academic performance but on a host of other parameters. Hence do not worry about your academic performance in India.
