NMIMS, Mumbai BDes eligibility criteria does not require candidates to have Mathematics or Statistics in Class 12th to be eligible for admission. Chosen stream or set of subjects are irrelevant for BDes admission at Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.

BSc Statistics at Amity University Mumbai requires a minimum of 55% marks in Mathematics or Statistics. The university keeps this rule strict because the syllabus involves a lot of data calculations and quantitative logic. If your school math score is lower than this, you will need to look at other Science streams.

No, Queensland University of Technology does not prioritize the subject-specific marks over the overall scores.

QUT actually evaluates international applicants based on their overall academic average. Look at the key admission criteria for Indian students -

  • For UG courses, QUT looks at the overall score which should be around 60% to 75%
  • For PG courses like a Master of IT or Data Science, students need a minimum GPA of 4.0 on a 7.0 scale (around 60% on the Indian scale)

The subject of Math is not required for admission purposes. It can be acceptable. However, the required subjects for BPT admissions at Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Physiotherapy are Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in Class 12.

At TUM, a credit mismatch is the number 1 reason for rejections. And if your application does not include the core subjects like Math or Stats for TUM, your application will likely be rejected.

The German universities like TUM evaluate applications based on the subject specific competences using ECTS and not the CGPA or the total credit hours.
