Yes, NCERT Mathematics (Class 11 & 12) is generally enough for NATA preparation because most of the topics in the syllabus are covered in NCERT.
The NATA Mathematics section usually tests:
Algebra
Trigonometry
Coordinate Geometry
Matrices & Determinants
Probability & Statistics
Vectors
Differential & Integral Calculus
NCERT will give you a strong base, but since NATA questions are often application-based, you may also want to:
Practice MCQs and previous year NATA/JEE Paper 2 Maths questions
Strengthen speed and accuracy in problem-solving
Use reference books (like R.D. Sharma or Arihant) if you want extra practice

Yes, a Math section is compulsory on the ACT and it covers topics from pre-algebra to trigonometry. The ACT composite score will now contain scores from the Maths, English and Reading sections only.

Yes. Math and Statistics are very important for Data Management courses because they provide the basic foundational base for understanding algorithms, data analysis and interpretation, building data models, and uncovering data patterns and insights. A few beginner courses may seem easy to navigate but intermediate and advanced Data Management courses demand a good amount of mathematical and statistical knowledge.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements of 70 to 75%, international students are also required to have Mathematics as a subject in higher secondary as some of the courses in Business or Finance and Mathematics-related degrees, this subject.
