You can't really think of doing BBA without math. No doubt the BBA degree focuses more on business management and administration, the mathematical concepts of algebra, calculus, statistics and financial mathematics are all important for a strong analytical and problem solving mindset.
Maths is very important for finance, accounting, economics and operations management, the very core of BBA. So, it is important for you to have a strong mathematical base to study BBA.

Candidates who wish to pursue BArch need to prepare for Mathematics to attempt the questions in the Numerical/ Mathematical section of BArch entrance examinations.
Though the BArch graduate programme does not consist of a lot of Mathematics subjects, the Entrance syllabus consists of the following topics:
- Algebra
- Trigonometry
- Matrices
- Application of Calculus
- Coordinate geometry
- Logarithms
- Permutation and combination
- 3-Dimensional Co-ordinate geometry

For DU CSAS PG counselling round 2, a total of 5415 allocations were made, out of which 3833 allocations were fresh allocations. Further, 1386 candidates got upgraded seats and 3436 students opted for freeze during round 1 counselling.

Even if a candidate who have not studied mathematics in Class 12 can still do well in the MAH BBA CET exam. The exam includes sections such as Logical and Abstract Reasoning, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, and Quantitative Aptitude. The QA section is based on topics such as algebra, geometry, data interpretation, arithmetic, etc. Students do not require advanced knowledge of these topics.
