Yes, you are eligible for admission to MGU Kerala BSc (Hons) courses without Mathematics in Class 12. It is for cases, where chosen specialisation within BSc does not specifically require Mathematics as a mandatory subject. Some of the BSc specialisations in which Mathematics is not required are:

  • BSc Zoology
  • BSc Botany
  • BSc in Environmental Science
  • BSc Geology
  • BSc Home Science

In the AEEE CBT exam, math is given the highest weightage. There are 120 total marks for this paper. This exam is MCQ based. Candidates should thus concentrate and aim for a high score in this part. Candidates can obtain a general understanding of the subjects, subtopics, chapters, and units that need to be mastered in order to prepare for the AEEE exam by consulting the syllabus. The material covered in classes 11 and 12 is the basis for the AEEE questions.

No, Mathematics is not required for the Biotechnology course. 

Further, candidates aspiring to pursue the Biotechnology course are required to meet the minimum eligibility criteria listed here:

  • A minimum combined score of 50%  (45% for SC/ST candidates) at both Higher Secondary and Senior Secondary levels.
  • Physics, Biology and Chemistry as the main subjects in Class 12 with a minimum combined score of 60% in all three.

Candidates must have mathematics and statistics as their subjects during their undergraduate degree to be eligible for NIMCET . So, Business Mathematics won't be an eligibility criteria in NIMCET Examination.

To get admission in UPES, there are some eligibility criteria which are to be met. For B.Tech programs, UPES requires candidates to have passed their 10+2 board exams with a minimum percentage in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. If you have a compartment (supplementary exam) in your Mathematics board exam, it means you have not cleared all your subjects in the first attempt. However, UPES allows students to take compartment exams and clear the subject to meet the eligibility criteria. You need to pass the compartment exam in Mathematics to fulfill the eligibility criteria to get admission in UPES.

Mathematics in +2 is not mainly mentioned as compulsory for BCom admission at Seth Anandram Jaipuria College, Kolkata. However, it's recommended to verify about this directly with the college's admissions office as requirements can change anytime college to college. But colleges prefer applicants with a background in mathematics due to its importance in commerce studies.
