Career in HR field starts with as a recruiter role for any qualification. Difference a HR specialization candidate makes in future is that they diversify to the other areas of HR. I have seen many HR Managers started their career as a Recruiter even in HR Consultancies and are in a good position in top companies. Also they have chosen a specific area to take it as their specialization i.e. Compensation and Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Organization Development, Learning and Development etc.
So the first step in HR is Recruitment to move ahead in your career in HR field.
