MBA in hotel management is a PG course and can be done only after completing graduation. However, B.Sc in hotel management is a graduation course. If you want to make your career in hospitality industry then B.Sc in hotel management from a good IHM is enough and if you want to expand your knowledge base you can anytime go for an MBA in hospitality. If you are currently in 12th and looking after making your career in hospitality industry go for a B.Sc in hotel management.

Wait till the last merit list is out. You will know anything only after you have waited. But do try for other colleges too, because you need to be prepared for any other college too. There are a lot of students who get their seats from the 4th merit list too.
