No difference. MBA is a degree offered by only Universities as per law. PGDM is Post Graduate Diploma in Management. But don't underrate PGDM as its Diploma. PGDM is more Job oriented amd gives you Industry exposure. If you are a fresher, then I would suggest you to go for PGDM as its curricular changes every year in accordance with Industry developments. In PGDM, you get Summer Internship which is not there in MS/MBA as it follows University guideliness. In PGDM, you have to work with live projects and achieve hands-on experience unlike MS/MBA. In PGDM, There is a progress of Overall development as you take part in various programmes

Some more details such as if you are already selected for Bank PO and MBA, would have been helpful. If you got both of them in your hand and it is a question of choosing between two, unless MBA is from a premier institution, I recommend you to join the Bank. If you got admission for MBA in a reputed university, it is undoubtedly the better option. If you don't have either on hand and you want to decide your next step, aim for MBA in IIM, XLRI and likes. Alternately, get a Bank PO job, work for 3-4 years and then go for MBA. This obviously helps you acquire relatively better knowledge in the specialisation you opt for, due to working ex

See, first of all, the AMU MBA is newly opened within one year and its functionality and working is currently going on. It would according to me take about 5-6 years to work with quality and efficiently.
Secondly, AMU currently hasn't exposure to Core companies of Management and companies usually hesitate to come to Aligarh even for placements too.
Jamia being a hub and capital city of India crosses every barrier in term of quality and exposure to give its students better education with quality and quantity.
Rest, you can better decide.
Best of luck.

It is compulsory for the XIME, Bangalore campus people to go for either of the two. But XIME, Kochi, it is not compulsory. It is optional. Students may choose to go or not go.
