If done from the right college and in the right way, then every sector is fairly appreciable. It is you who has to decide your sector of interest based on your profile and personal interest.

Proximity to industrial area is beneficial for the students in getting maximum industrial exposure and interaction with professionals from the industry. So, I would definitely consider it to be a fine college for pursuing MBA.

Doon business MAU comes under B+ or B category. Placements are good but it's an average college.

MBA from distance is just not advisable my friend. Because MBA is not a theory based course, it is a practical course based on case studies and exposure to the various industries. So, it is advisable you take up a regular course unless you want only a degree.

K. J. Somaiya is one of the top college and is also a good option. BIMM/Balaji falls into B+ or B category college. Search more about colleges and do visit campus.

Minimum requirement for MBA programme is 55% (general). Many colleges are there who can give you admission at this percentage but cannot be one of the best colleges.

Some of the good institutes you can get into are MIT-SOM (by their entrance and other exams), Balaji Institute or Yashaswi Institute.
